The Valbona River Valley lies in the eastern
portion of the Albanian Alps. The area
features a national park of 8,000 hectares
and nearby lofty peaks offer some of the
most striking natural beauty in Albania.
Valbona is located 25 km northeast of
the city of Bajram Curri and is the most
populated city in the Valbona River Valley.
